Acceptable use policy
Eyva — Acceptable Use Policy
This policy is part of the Terms of Service between you and Conserius Inc. It says what you may not do with Eyva™. Most of Eyva runs on your Mac and never reaches us; the rules still apply to it, and they apply with extra force to anything that goes through our cloud service.
1. Do not use Eyva to break the law or hurt people
You may not use Eyva to:
- break any law that applies to you, or help someone else do so;
- harass, threaten, stalk, defame or discriminate against anyone;
- create or share sexual content involving minors, in any form — this is reported to the authorities where the law requires it;
- plan or carry out violence, terrorism, or the making of weapons capable of mass harm;
- commit fraud, impersonate a real person or organisation to deceive, or run scams or phishing;
- infringe someone else's copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights;
- collect or process other people's personal data without a lawful basis to do so.
2. Do not attack systems
You may not use Eyva to:
- get into a computer, account, network or service you are not authorised to use;
- write, spread or run malware, or test systems you do not own without the owner's permission;
- overload or disrupt any service, including ours.
3. Do not get around Eyva's safety floors
Eyva has protections you cannot switch off: it never sends a credential it recognises to the cloud, it records every outbound connection before it is made, and it only connects to destinations on its own list. You may not try to defeat, disable or trick them, tamper with our relay, or use a modified copy of Eyva to reach our cloud service.
4. Use the cloud service fairly
- Do not share an account. A plan is for one person, on at most two of their Macs.
- Do not resell access to Eyva's cloud replies, or put an automated system in front of it to extract them at scale.
- Do not use cloud replies to train another AI model.
- Do not use the cloud service from a place it is not offered, or where sanctions forbid it. As of version 1.0, cloud replies are not offered to accounts in the EU/EEA, the UK or Türkiye; Eyva runs fully on your Mac there. Elsewhere, cloud replies are only offered where our AI provider supports them.
5. Our AI provider's rules apply to cloud replies
Cloud replies are produced by Anthropic. When a turn goes to the cloud, Anthropic's Usage Policy also applies to it: https://www.anthropic.com/legal/aup. If a request breaks it, the request may be refused.
6. Professional advice
Eyva is not a doctor, lawyer, financial adviser or any other licensed professional. Do not present its output as professional advice to others, and check anything important with a qualified person.
7. What happens if you break this policy
We can only see what reaches our cloud service — never what stays on your Mac. If an account breaks this policy through the cloud service, we may refuse requests, suspend cloud replies, or close the account. Where we can, we tell you first and say why. Eyva on your Mac keeps working.
8. Reporting misuse
Report abuse or a safety problem to support@conserius.com. Report a security vulnerability to security@conserius.com, under our Security Policy.
